I had a letter through today saying that an appointment had been made for me to have the above.
Briefly - I went into A and E with chest pain a couple of months ago and had a chest xray and scan. (I had a DVT earlier in the year so they wanted to check for Pulmonary Embolism)
Anyway, nothing was found so I was sent home.
I called the hospital to ask who had referred me as I thought it may be a mistake and they said the consulant had referrred me after an xray meeting. (I guess the one I had when I went in)
I am under a haemotologist at the moment who is checking for APS. So far I have had one positive and one borderline LA result so am waiting for another in February.
Now I am a bit confused as to why they want me to go back in.
Has anyone any more information.
