shooting pain in breasts

Hi there, I've been having this shooting pain in my nipples and the inside of my breasts recently, I'm weaning (DS is 14 months old, currently on 3-4 feeds, all at night). Haven't cut down feeding dramatically, just tapering it off. I am gonna go to my GP with this, just wondering whether anyone else had something similar while weaning?

if it's both breasts it sounds most likely to be related to the weaning.

Have had this a couple of times (not related to weaning). It went away after a couple of weeks. GP did check everything and put it down to hormones.
