Does anyone else 'swell' up just before a period?

I'm beginning to resemble the mitchelin man and seem to put on about half a stone the week leading up to AF (is that correct?)

My breasts get really heavy/uncomfortable too.

Things were generally unoticeable before I had kids.

Is there anything that can be done, or is it something I just have to live with?

I've always swollen up like a beachball... I never found anything that helped... I just had to remember never to buy trousers around then!

I wonder if there is anything that would help... I only have a bit left before my evil periods might come back (arrrgh!)

me too, i'm always overjoyed at the weight i've lost afterwards (that's how it feels)

Me to. I've looked at those water reduction tablets and wondered if they will work but I'm never organised enough to buy them at the right time!

I used to swell up so badly I had to keep a couple of skirts just to wear on those days After trying out the whole juicing thing at home, I have to admit that it's helped a lot. Especially this one: juice 3 carrots, 2 apples, 2 sticks celery and handful parsley. It's a real diuretic, but also replaces minerals that you're low on around your period. Juices with chicory or fennel are also good for de-bloating too.
