Hello, any ladies about that have been sterilised?

I had my last child, dd 9 months ago by c-section, and got sterilised at the same time, dd was exclusively breastfed, until she was just gone 6 months, when i introduced solids, i still breastfeed her, around 5/6 feeds per day, some long feeds, some short comfort/topup type feeds, she is my 4th, and normally my period returns after they go onto solids, i assume because they are taking less milk, but this time i still have no period, nothing. Is this normal in anyway? Could it be anything to do with getting sterilised, does that affect things much? Im wondering if it'll ever show up again? (not that i miss it much!) TIA xx

I was sterilised during my c-section with my 4th child too. It was over a year until my periods, not sure if it is to do with being sterilised though. My periods did return quicker with my other children all of which were breastfed

I was sterilised about 3 years after my last DC and about a year after I finished BF. I didn't have a break in my periods. How old are you? Is it possible that things are just slowing down anyway?

Im 31, i suppose i shouldnt rule out things slowing down, but most of the women in my family are in their early 40's before anything like that starts really. Im not concerned or anything really, just noticed recently thats all

Oh no, that's very young. Not impossible, I suppose, but not very likely.

I was sterilised when youngest was 4, my periods did never falter :(
