Why are my dreams more vivid when I sleep on my back?

I am slightly worried it may be the result of brain cells dying due to a lack of oxygen - the dreams being their final spectacular farewell.

Please reassure me I am being silly.

oh I get that too

I had assumed that it was because I wasn't in such a deep sleep

but your explanation is FAR funnier

Grin you've just given me something new and interesting to worry about at 4am!

Seriously, I get that too. My mother claims its to do with digestion Confused but I have no idea.

fizzpops · 10/11/2010 18:10

Ooh thanks. Could be digestion although mine has other ways of making itself known!

I quite enjoy the dreams so as long as I know I am doing myself no harm I will continue to sleep on my back. Also my face is beautifully unlined when I wake up, plus I don't drool...
