Ds1 has got worms and I'm pretty sure I have got it too (bleuchhchch). Have got the tablets (ovex) and will treat whole family except I can't take them as I am breastfeeding ds2. I'm also worried I could give them to ds2 and he's only 6 weeks old. Is there anything I can take? I am being meticulous about hygeine but I'm not sure that will be enough.

I think you will need to ask your GP. You can't let worms go untreated.

Wash everything on 90 for a week and get those antiseptic hand wipes/gel to stop transmission hand to mouth.

Thanks - wipes are a good idea, will pop out and get some now. Got all the bedlinen on a hot wash and am about to do towels.

Anyone been given stuff by their GP that was okay to take? I'm off to the HV on Monday and am hoping they can tell me what I can get as getting a GP appt here is a nightmare unless you're bleeding to death or have a temp of 108.

Wilbur, there were a few threads on this recently. Someone had been prescribed b/feedin compatible homeopathic stuff.

They won't harm the baby, and if you stop the fingers to bottom business, the cycle should be broken naturally.
