Goodmorning all,

I don't really know whether to post this on general health or breastfeeding, so I just thought that I would try general health first.

My dd is now 9mths. I am still breastfeeding but not as much as before. During this whole time my periods have not returned and I was very happy because I suffer from severe dysmenorrhea and PMT, so an extended break from my period has been very welcomed. However, this last week and a half I feel like my period is about to start but there is no blood. I have started to feel dizzy, weak, feeling contractions during the day, feel like crying, extremely angry and all over the place. Does this make sense even though there has been no blood and the fact that I am still breastfeeding?

THanks

You can get your periods back while you're breast feeding. My DH knew AF was due the day before it came back Grin at 10 months. Seems to be linked to how much you're still feeding in the night. I kept feeding until 20 months but periods were back to normal from 10 months - including the PMT!
