i get very travel sick as i have a damage to my inner ear. am going to be going on a journey next week & really would like to take something as have a fear of vomiting. i have asked my local pharmacist & they weren't very helpful, just advised me to see my gp. my gp though i know from previous experience is reluctant to prescribe/advise anything while bf. any ideas?? i have also posted in the feeding section as was unsure where to post.

I have to take anti sickness tablets and they do advise against breastfeeding whilst taking them. I wonder if kids Joyrides would be ok? My LO has needed them for since she was small.

You could try the wrist bands, I bought some from Boots. They work on the pressure points to relieve nausea/sickness. I had fantastic results using them on a 9 hr ferry crossing - I wasn't affected by sickness or even 'sea legs' once I'd put them on.
