Reasons for a missed period

Hi

Any ideas welcome, my period is now three weeks late and three pregnancy tests are negative any idea why?

They are usually regular and since having children very heavy so to disappear is a worry.

I'm not a medical person but it could be due to stress, weight gain/loss or (and I hesitate to say it) the onset of the menopause when I believe periods come and go at will.

Hopefully not the menopause I am 32 :)
