My 12 wk DS was born with a full head of hair. Over the last two weeks I have noticed that he is losing his hair just around his ears and up to his temples. My MIL said that this is normal and his "new" hair will soon come through. Is this true??

yes.

mine were both baldies anyway, but dd did lose the hair she had. it might grow back in another colour.

Thanx Senora, I just didn't want him to be a permanent baldy like his dad!!!! Hope his hair doesn't come through a diff. colour, he is beautiful as he is!!!!

Def normal. Both mine lost their hair and got a new lot (of stronger hair) around the age of your DS. Happy hair watching!

Do you think it would be possible to transplant the old hair onto his dad's head????? he he he

Yup, absolutely normal - ds2 had masses of dark hair, it all rubbed off at the back, then he was blonde!

Marthamoo- this happened to my Ds! He was born with massive load of black hair, it fell out in chunks. He is now blonde and really fuzzy!
