I haven't actually fainted but I have to concentrate and breath etc. It happened after I had been reading to ds for 20mins snuggled up on his bed.

It happened after I had been doing my internet shop sitting still for about 30mins at the computer.

Sometimes it happens before I fall asleep.

It happens between 2-3 times a day.

As I said, I've not fainted, but just get this really dizzy thing and am convinced that I could faint.

Any ideas?

I would say that is a def gp thingy.

Stark, this happened to my mum and it turned out to be an under-active thyroid. No idea if this is the case for you, but it was easily-treatable. See your GP!

That's interesting tall. I've been suspecting thyroid problems for ages, but when I went to the GP about 4 years ago I was told that the top ranking ailment that people complain of is tiredness and it is a symptom of our lifestyles so go away, eat properly and exercise more.

But I have just looked it up and it makes sense that the time I have felt most happiest and 'well' is when I was pregnant, when the hormone is raised apparantly. It makes a lot of sense now.

Bit scared by google though and my imminent fatal coma........

I know, if the symptoms don't get you, the anxiety will!

I really can't remember much about when my mum got diagnosed (18 years ago!) - but I think it was a simple blood test and as soon as she was on the right meds she was fine.

Hope you get it sorted x
