Started with major pain in ear yesterday. OOH Dr said Looks like glue ear. There is meds to help but I can't take due to breastfeeding. He said may clear in 10-14 days but may get infected so any changes for worse return to my GP.

Is there anything I can do to help clear it ?

My town is full of alternative therapists so someone must be useful Grin

Ive had glue ear for over a year and have tried everything - nasonex, antihistamines, steaming and sudafed etc, nothing works and its driving me insane!!!
Saw a consultant this week, said the only option is grommets or wait and see if it clears though he doubted it will any time soon as Ive had it for so long.
So Im having grommets put in in November, not thrilled.
Have you tried steaming?
