Anyone else get shooting pains in their breasts?

I've never had this before but the last few days I've been having shooting pains in my breasts. I have the mirena coil fitted so am 99% sure I am not pg (before anyone asks!) although I have 2 dc and didn't have this with either pg anyway. Any clues as to what might be causing it? Thanks.

I occasionally get this - I seem to think it's something like indigestion/muscle spasms but not sure.

Me too. No idea what they are.
It actually feels like something in the breast tissue.

I did yes, best to get it checked. I had a lump which had to be removed, was benign thank goodness. But my referring GP did not muck around with this and referred me straight away.

Thanks for the replies. If it continues I will get it checked, just in case. It is in both breasts I think (only happened in one today though) so that makes me slightly less worried but I will keep an eye on it.
