I don't know bridcat, but I am in exactly the same situation, so just offering support and letting you know it is not just you who can't shift the weight. I too exercise, diet, and my bloods are normal now (supposedly) but no weight loss.

It's such a pain isn't it?, my GP says I need to increase the amount of aerobic excercise I do - so I am adding a cycling a lot more walking and some (light) running, if that is of any help to you. He also keeps saying 'don't worry too much about the weight' Hmm.

Anyway - not much help I know, but sympathy for your situationSmile

Same problem here......was on 175mcg a day & after a huge effort (lots of cycling, reducing carbs & vaguely following the Patrick Holford diet etc) I managed to lose 2 stone (at the rate of half a pound a week!!!). Sadly my Mum died in January this year & the dieting & exercise went out of the window & I have piled the weight back on (& my thyroxine has been reduced to 150 mcg!). So I know it IS possible but it's very hard!
