I (wimp wimp) made dh take ds for injections preschool mmr. Ds now looks like a pincushion after lots of fighting and on actually mmr one end of syringe fell off splattered dh with only a tiny amount going into ds. Do they need all the stuff or is a few drops going to suffice. any expert innoculators out there>

oh dear Your poor ds.
I would think that they couldn't give another when they don't know exactly how much went into him. Probably too little is better than too much i would think. But i am not a Doctor just a mother!

The say that the booster is just to catch the few children who arem't immune from the first ones anyway so i wouldn't worry.

thanks Angeliz
ds did get Bob comic as a sweetner afterwards so is recovering - nurse isn't the usual stabber but she seemed quite happy but now dh is playing it all back in his mind and worrying.. which he does
Any Gps or medical people out there?

Could you ring and have a chat with the nurse who did it, while it's still fresh in her mind and she can remember what happened? It might not be as bad as your dh imagines it was.

Dh did query it at the time but she said it was fine- it's just he's not so sure now!
