I am in so much pain, my usual tablets arent touching it and this flare up has lasted almost two weeks.

I suffer from an advanced form of a condition called teitze's which is quite rare and extremely painful. the cartlidge joining my ribs to my sternum and spine swells, pushing the rib out. sometimes right out of place.

I have been ill since saturday before last. my ribcage has expanded by 1/2 inch. the skin is all bruised and swollen, my shoulders are stiff and mangled. my neck is stiff and neither dh or i have slept for over a week.

i can ahve a steroid injection in each rib, but it will be almost as painful and take forever. so back to the doctors for me tomorrow, ask for a referral to pain clinic and fecking big ass needles stuck into my already sore and swollen chest.

no i haveny lissie.wish it was a simple as that. feels similar to the gastritis i had last year before i had my gall bladder out.
