Just back from MRI scan (wrt high prolactin level).

Radiologist tells me I have a 1cm adenoma and I'll need drugs to treat it.

How about my pregnancy plans? How long will treatment take? Do I need to wait until treatment's over (if ever)?

Will speak with the endocrinologist on friday, but fairly worried about implications.

Anyone with any words of advice?

Many thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear this, I'm afraid I have no idea about the implications but I saw your other thread and was hoping you would have good news.

I hope they can reassure you - when do you next see someone?

Sorry, Friday...I hope it goes well x

Hi, Frrrrightattendant.

Thanks for your post.

The MRI results are going straight to the endocrinologist and I'll be telephoning her friday lunchtime to discuss the next step.

It's such a blow. Been ttc for 3 years and this could've been the major contributing factor to me not falling all along.

I went through all that when I thought I had one of those.

The endo told me they need long term care and they usually put you on a drug called Bromocriptine. Google it. The drug is also used to treat Parkinson's disease. Side effects look quite bad with that drug.

I don't mean to scare you but that's what they me.
