bad ingrown toenail - yuck i know

anyone had to have their toe anathethised or whatever it is they do? mine just hasnt healed proberly after being pregnant and feet swelled in last trimester. god thats 1 year + now.

have had it cut/clipped at least 10 times now and it continues to go askew.

oh did you have to pay for it, was it like a mini operation

Hiya, i had a bad ingrowing toe nail when i was 14, it got infected and they removed the nail only for the new nail to grow in again, they removed that one and yet again it grew in, in the end i had to go into hospital and they removed half the nail with the roots.

Both procedures were done under local anesthetic (?sp), the first two were done at my gps.
I have not had any bother since and my toenail does not look that bad. If you are concern about it go see your gp and she what they say.
