Am 36,just had DC3, am thinking implanon. Would like to hear your thoughts.

Had a mirena, uncomfortable.
Can't remember the pill.
Condoms, vasectomy, tubal ligation, no.

OP scant as keyboard playing up :)

I loved my implanon. I had 2 in a row and no fertility issues when I decided half way through the second one I needed another baby.
I had no periods for years and years which was lovely, but I did put on weight, which I may or may not have done anyway.
You can have it removed if the hormones don't suit you, or try the injection which is shorter term, three months as opposed to years.

Oh, yes, I forgot about the depo, my personal favourite!

Thanks miss, I liked the implanon too. Ouch going in though. .

Had depo for 10 years, then doc decided I'd been on it too long, so moved to Implanon in Sept 08. Am planning another one when this one is up in Sept 2011, and at the end of that time I'll be nearly 40 and pushing for a permanent solution.
