Anyone know what a cystocele is?

Hi i went to the hospital for a 6 month check after a bad 2nd degree tear and have been sent a letter to say i have a 2nd degree cystocele and too make an appointment with my doc. Does anyone know what that is? Should i be worried?

It is damage done to the vaginal wall, which is allowing the bladder to herniate in the vagina.

I had this and had a repair op about 8 years ago.

There is a big thread about this. I had mine operated on this week. Mine was 4th degree- was minor 2 years ago. Go and see a good gynaecologist that you can have faith in.
