After effects of LLETZ

Hi, I had a LLETZ procedure yesterday following an abnormal smear and biopsy. The cell changes ranged from mild to severe, but they are confident that they have removed all of the affected cells. The procedure itself was terrible painful - the first anaesthetic wasn't effective so I shot up almost to the ceiling when they started cutting, but after a second jab all I could feel was the intense heat, which they had warned me about.
Last night I felt fine, but today I have the most peculiar 'shifting' feeling inside and a horrible dragging feeling along with flashes of pains. Has anyone else had this? It almost feels like a baby kicking!

When I had one a few years ago, there were achy, crampy feelings for several days afterwards.
It was similar to period pain but in a slightly different area.
Did the colposcopy staff suggest taking painkillers? Ibuprofen based ones are most helpful - obv only if you are able to take them of course.
You may also get bleeding, including brown discharge, there can also be tissue fragments too.
If the pain gets worse, doesn't go after a few more days, or you have a temp or smelly/discoloured discharge then give the unit a call or see your Gp.
Did they give you an aftercare leaflet, as that usually has contact no's in it.
Well done for getting through the LLETZ and hope you feel better soon. Put your feet up today! :)
