My DD who is 7mths has just done the darkest green poo I've ever seen. It reminds me a little of the Meconium (SP?). It was almost black! Any ideas. She eats a lot of Advocado which is green. Could this be it? She seems fine otherwise.

I've never seen anything like this?

Might just be a sign that something disagreed with her - has she had anything new in the last 48 hours? Or sometimes, green poo is intestinal hurry - ie the intestines pushing something through rather quickly. Ds3 had gree poo for months but is a fine, healthy 2.6 year old now.

Yesterday was the first time that ds2 (8 months)ate a fair portion of mashed avocado (has previously gagged on it and not liked it very much). Anyway, today his first poo he did was very dark green, so I reckon it would be the avocado! I decided not to worry and hopefully he got some of the goodness in the avocado.

i dunno, ds eats lots of avocado but it doesn't necessarily match up with the dark poo!
