Help needed!! Maybe coil related and Doc fobbing me off!!! TMI warning lol

Ive had copper coil in since July now, really happy its settled down but for the last month or 2 Ive felt really bloated, and when I need the toilet, especially for a no.2 I get excrutiating pains and contraction like pains, similar to when I first had coil put in. Usually I get bleeding with this in my stools and when wiping and also sometimes get a bit of spotting :-(

Docs have said is probably related to coil and to have it out and see if symptoms carry on, which im not wanting to do cos im happy hormone free!!
Im going to FMC tomorrow to see what they say - they put it in.
Has anyone else experienced anything like it? Friends say poss infection somewhere???

One other thing to mention is Ive had lower back problems from an injury in june too!!

I have a copper coil and have not had the problems you describe. I don't see how it could cause blood in your stool so would ask for a second opinion if I were you.

Ive been to fpc and they say all is ok no infection!! gonna see how it goes a little while longer

Glad there was no infection. Have you had any other tests incase it's not actually the coil causing the problem?

Theyve had a look up there and they said its in place, doesnt seem to be an infection they said theres no funny discharge or anything, theyve done swabs to check and theres no white blood cells in my wee!!
