bad left leg pains during periods?

i have terrible pains in my legs during a period its only my left leg, from the bottom of my back to my ankle, i dont get stomach pains or cramps but i just woundered if any 1 else experianced this?

Is it like a shooting pain down your leg?

I get sciatica leg pains at beginning of my period. My physio said it's not unusual due to hormonal changes affecting the tissue/nerves in your back/pelvic area. Sciatic nerve gets pressed on and sends pain down your leg.
