Two ops on my sinuses and still getting recurring infections :-(

Basically in the last 7 months I have has 2 ops on my sinuses :-
first operation was a balloonaplasty and a septoplasty

second operation was a FESS.

The consultant took some the the small bone away too near my ethmoid sinus.

Since having the last operation (which was mid July) I have had 2 sinus infections. Before the 2nd operation I was getting sinus infections between 4 and 6 weeks.

I am so fed up its untrue, I am due to see ENT consultant in November, but to be honest I have had enough. I use the Neilmed washout daily which I really hate.

Consultant has clearly stated that it is not an allergy - It doesn't have the characteristics for one!

Does anyone know what more can be done for me?

i had one sinus op couple of years ago and every time i got a cold i got an infection. took nasofan think it is, spray from specialist and seems to be getting better.

think it takes a while to heal up properly

I guess I am so fed up with the infections that I have now lost hope!

I want to be fixed yesterday especially all the pain that I felt after that 2nd operation.

Sad
