Very sore nipples, not pregnant or pre menstrual

I have developed very sore nipples. I am definitely not pregnant, nor am I about to start my period.

It feels as though I am leaking milk, feels quite tingly, like when I was breastfeeding and had let down. There is no actual leaking, just feels like it.

I have recently been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, and I have recently had a period.

My nipples have never hurt this much. The last time they were this painful was when I was pregnant (very most definitely not pregnant).

I don't even get sore nipples before my period, so just very unsure what is going on.

Not itchy, no, just very tender and painful.

Perhaps it's a kind of dermatitis- ? I'd see your GP
