Q re Macrodantin for any medical professionals?

I have been put on this antibiotic today (cystitis), I have looked through the info leaflet and cannot find alcohol mentioned anywhere..I'm not a big drinker but it is my birthday this week so was just wondering if a glass or two of wine was allowed? thank you

You don't have to avoid alcohol on Nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin) but don't get dehydrated in you celebrations.
