Mirena out - HEAVY period. Normal?

Title says it all really. Mirena out last Thursday, began period yesterday and my word, it's a big 'un! Is this normal?

not sure,but i have a mirena in and still have 2 heavy days..

probably sounds normal,and will settle down,as when they mess around with you,you normal get some sort of downside,at the beginning..

I remember that well! It's not the going in though, it's the coming out!
