Think I may be having nightime seizures?

I'm on citalopram (40mg) for panic disorder but that's the only medication I'm on. I was on 20mg but have had a lot of stress and my panic returned so my gp upped my meds a few months ago.
For the past few weeks I've noticed my tongue has been sore with ridges and also I've been biting my tongue whilst asleep which wakes me, sometimes with blood in my mouth.

I've also noticed an electic shock feeling in my head when I wake and the pain shooting through my mouth and it seems to raditate through my head? I'm also experiencing eye twitching on the right during the day but maybe that's lack of sleep?
I've just moved and changed gp whom I have a medical review with on Friday. Do you think it'd be ok to wait until then to mention this problem?
I have a history of night terrors so it could be this causing my tongue biting although haven't 'felt' as if I've had NT for a while? Plus this electric shock feeling is new?
Any advice apprecitated. TIA

I also get the inside head electric shock feeling too, I was on citalopram, then prozac and 5 days ago started sertraline.

I usually get the feeling because I've forgotten to take my pills for a couple of days, maybe it's because you've upped the dose?

I also grind my teeth or bite my tongue in the night, the left hand side of my tongue on the edge is usually very sore when I'm having bad OCD/panic disorder days.

I don't think it sounds like seizures, but I'm no doctor, all you can do is see what they say on Friday.

Have you tried nomorepanic.co.uk an excellent website and forum.

Good luck on Fri

Thanks lucjam you've made me feel better though sorry you're experiencing it too. I had a better night last night. I'll be honest I only took 30mg instead of 40 don't know if this had any effect? I'm going to tell the doctor on Friday I want to lower my dose.
