Hi
Wondered if anyone had any advice on suppliments or special diets I could try to make me gain weight???
Im 27 about 5'4 and currently i weigh about 7st....I eat very well and have no clinical reason why I am the weight i am..Had 2nd dc about 8 months ago and have lost 2 and a half stone in that time..DD was born with some serious health problems so weightloss could be related to stress...But my iet hasnt changed..
Ive always been slim which i have never liked amd now people are starting to comment and its shaking my confidence a little bit. I find people always assume one looses weight on purpose..
Ive heard of diet pills and i wondered if there was an opposite i could try...??
thanks x

You could start supplementing your diet with Complan drinks or similar.

Perhaps make an appointment with your GP asking for advice.

You could maybe try using Food Focus website to check that you are actually eating the recommended number of calories you need per day. You could then up these slightly with snacks such as flapjacks between meals, or adding foods like nuts or avocados to your meals so you're increasing the calories, but still with a high nutritional content.

Some people are naturally slim though, and you really shouldn't lose confidence. I think you'll find most people would envy your ability to stay slim, and their comments might be because of this.

My friend's GP recommended Slim Fast drinks in between meals. It worked for my friend Smile

im naturally slim,as is the rest of my family but im naturally a crap eater too!(being honest, next week i'll be on here wanting to put weight on!).keeping a list of what you eat is helpful.if you really are eating well and still not putting on weight you could try your gp.i wont because he'll say i eat rubbish!
