Reflexology wanted, but have a verruca

Hi

I am eight months pregnant and am tempted to have some reflexology - never had it before. Have swollen feet and hands, and have been told it will help, and help me feel good in general. However, I have just found a verruca on my foot - I am now a little reluctant to go to a reflexologist and subject them to my verruca'ed foot - or will they not mind and be quite used to such things? I am treating it with those patches, and have a GP's appt to freeze it coming up, but feel I want to start the reflexology sooner than the verruca can be got rid of.

Will a reflexologist reject me, or be grossed out? I don't fancy the job myself!

i would ask them, and offer to put one of those clear patches for cold sores on it.

Thanks - you don't think they'll be disgusted?
The verruca patch I've got on at the moment does actually hide it, and will mean the reflexologist won't have to touch it, I suppose. Just hope the verruca isn't on one of the key pressure points, or something.

I used to have regular reflexology and once i had something which i thought might be a verruca and she just wore gloves to do it - didnt feel any different and as it turned out, it wasnt a verruca. she also wore gloves once when she ahd a tiny cut on her hand.
reflexology is fab, i love it. Enjoy!
