7 mo terrible cold and tickly cough

please does anyone have any tips to help DD, she is having a terrible time sleeping, a chesty cough in the day seems to turn tickly at night and she is constantly coughing. She had calpol at 6pm to help with bit of temp, i am wondering what i can do to help the tickle. tia

awww! my DD age 10 months was like that too, so i gave her a warm bath every nite to bring up her phelgm (yuck!) and i gave her Calpol and water too
