no appetite after quitting breastfeeding

I quit breastfeeding 2 and a half weeks ago. Most times I don't really want to eat. I would think 'ooh I fancy that yummm', but then food will taste bit bitter in my mouth and just don't fancy eating. All I want is some fruits, drinks but nothing much else. Is this a common thing that will pass? I'm feeling a bit more down than usual as well but I love being with other people and going out and stuff so I don't think that it's postnatal depression. It's only with eating and obviously feeling a bit tired.

My cousin is like this for a few weeks after giving birth. It passes and then she goes back to eating normally. Its bound to be related to hormone production in some way. With your body settling down after finishing bf. I'd just hang loose and even enjoy the prospect that you may loose a few pounds!

thank you. Definitely hormonal!! I've gained back bit of appetite. I did worry a bit though and nice to lose couple of pounds with it I suppose. I do love food so not enjoying fish and chips was horrid!
