Do you suffer with urinary incontinence when nervous?

I have a fairly severe prolapse which is managed with two (yes two Blush) ring pessaries. Since it has been better controlled, my incontinence has become worse. I have been trying to work out the triggers. I think alcohol is one, but I have realised that there is a connection with me feeling nervous. I had wondered about this before, but have decided it is definitely the case.

I have had the prolpase for nearly 9 years, but I have now been referred to see about a repair as my work circumstances hve changed so it might be the right time.

Hi suwoo

Although not incontinent, I always find that I need a wee when I'm nervous - I'm pretty sure it's a very common reaction. Perhaps your bladder fills up when you are nervous, and that is what causes the incontinence?

Are you nervous about something at the moment?
