Fish oils & Oil of Eve Primrose - does anyone know if you can take both at same time?

Hi - I am just trying to get over a bout of depression/anxiety which Ive had on and off since PND 11 years ago.

Along with low dose AD's I also take 2 holland and barrett fish oil capsules and a multi vit and multi min a day.

Im 40 - and think Im also starting with the perimenopause which I think is affecting my recovery.

Have read a lot about Oil of Evening Primose and /or starflower oil but just wondered if you could take at the same time as fish oils. And any implications.

Thanks!

Don't see why you should have a problem. Make sure your vits are good quality, you generaly get what you pay for with vitamins.

I take fish oils and evening primrose oil together - both are supposed to help with dry eyes... However, I don't also take vitamin and mineral supplements. I guess I'd just want to check what extra dose of vitamins I was taking by adding the fish oils and evening primrose oil to the combination, as I'm sure they do contain vitamins (eg vitamin E with evening primrose oil, and high levels of vitamin A with some types of fish oil - namely cod liver oil). And if I was getting extra doses of certain vitamins, then I would want to check they weren't vitamins that are dangerous at high levels (as vitamin A can be).

MIL takes both in quite high does for various different ailments. Swears by them. (She has a medical background BTW)
