Are there any dentists around?

I will try and keep this short...
couple of weeks ago went to get wisdom tooth removed (upper) tooth was fused to jaw, dentist realised after trying to remove it, the jaw was fractured and the tooth was left. I have an appointment for dental consultation at hospital in 3 days time. I am almost recovered, I can move my jaw okay and eat carefully. Now I have noticed it has swollen up quite alot with blisters on it (this is near the roof of my mouth and above the tooth). The gum feels sore and like it has been burnt, but it hasnt, please could someone advise if I should go and try and sort it out before wednesday, as obviously with it being a Bank Holiday my dentist isn't open. Does it sound like an abscess?
