anyone know about complications for type 2 diabetes ?

Hi need help and advice if anyone can help ?

Hi pirateparty I was looking for a bit of both, basically my dad was admitted to hospital with a suspected lung infection but has now been told its a complication of the diabeties and that it could happen again ( bringing up blood, chest pains, v high blood sugar)

Any ideas ?

It sounds like you need some fairly specific info - perhaps you could phone your Dad's GP after the weekend? Or speak to the diabetes nurse or the doctors looking after your Dad?
