No, not in a sexy way!! I seem to get over-heated very quickly and feel uncomfortably hot and sweaty a lot. This is even when other people look pretty comfortable, and not just when it is particularly warm or humid. This has been going on for a many weeks.

Just wondered if anyine could think of any reason why this might be. I'm 33, have been on the Pill for many years, asthmatic, can't think of anything else that may be relevant. Thanks.

Overweight?

Well...now you mention it I hahve put on about 10lbs in the last few months. So, yes, I guess that would coincide. Bugger.

Peri-menopause? It's uncommon but could happen at 33. Mine started at 40.

slinkyboo · 22/08/2010 20:41

Oh dear...will google that.

The more I thinik about it, I think it's my weight. This is the most I've ever weighed (apart from when pg of course) and I know my body is not healthy with it, iyswim.

Thanks for replies.

Might be thyroid? Doc can do a blood test for you.

Hi, Have you checked your Blood Pressure. Excessive sweating and feeling hot was my DH only symptom, but then he was never going to be menopausal, though he did have hot flushes.

I have not checked my bp for a while...I have always had low bp but I'm due for a check-up next week so will get it checked. Thank you Smile
