Headaches related to PMT?

I had the worst headache of my life this time last month (couple of days before period), couldn't lift my head, had to lie down in the dark, general feeling of horribleness, next day felt really washed out and shaky.

I have had a similar thing for the last couple of days, not quite as bad but with bad "peaks" of horrible pain.

Period due sometime soon.

I am BF still, DS2 is 19 months and have been having regularish periods for about 5 months.

I am also losing a lot of hair again, happened when DS2 was about 4 months but seems to happening again.

Any one else had similar?

Yes, I often have headache just before period. What you are experiencing is probably a type of migraine. See information leaflet here

hi yes it does sound more like a migraine, i go through phases of getting them in two weeks before period, i take tesco starflower oil and vit b6 to try and level out hormones and i havent had a migraine for a couple of months, but i do get dull headaches that last for 2-3 days none stop!
i found that the pill and other hormone contraceptives made them much worse.
ive been prescibed anti inflammatory pills for the migraines and they do seem to work when i have had one.
