ooooooooooohhhhhhh dear!!!!! How to begin??????

Well ....... I've had a bit of a vaginal thrush problem and some kind MNers suggested a remedy involving a garlic clove and teatree oil. Well, the good news is that it has worked fantastically well on clearing up the thrush symptoms, but on the other hand I didn't expect the garlic clove to disappear beyond reach!!!!!

When should I declare this a medical emergency and present myself at A&E?????

To make matters worse my last visit to A&E was only a month or two back when I'd used a vibrator for the first time and managed to do myself some painful damage!!!!! My medical record is beginning to look like a comedy sketch.

Hope the clove came out OK

Just remember tho girls, no matter how often you do your pelvic floor exercises it is always better to used a galic crusher than DIY!!!!!

Furball · 30/08/2005 20:28

Try using your vibrator externally IYSWIM!!! deffo better on and around the clit

Sexonlegs · 30/08/2005 21:25

I agree with furball 100%! Glad the garlic has disappeared; shame about the itching tho - a trip to the docs ...

hellsbells4 · 04/09/2005 00:10

thanks furball - i did try it 'everywhere' but it simply didn't arouse me in any way! But because loads of people say how fab they are I'm tempted to have another go- but with loads of ky jelly this time.

ps never did find out what happened to the garlic! but the thrush has cleared up! yipppeee!!

The garlic saga continues .....

I had completely forgotten about the garlic clove - assumed it went down the loo without me realising. BUT dh and I have both been on anti-thrush treatment and avoiding sex until we are both clear. And I had a swab taken to test for a few other things which came back negative. I think we are just about 'all clear' but I still have a vaginal discharge that is worrying me. It has occurred to me that it just might have something to do with a lost clove of garlic. So tonight I confessed to dh about the garlic incident. He very bravely overcame his horror and squeamishness to try and find it - alas no luck. But if it was that, the discharge would be smelly woudn't it? Mine isn't.
So I guess I'll have to do what I should have done ages ago - another trip to the gp - but I really, really don't want to have to tell her what I did. Stoopid, stoopid me!

This is so funny! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a problem there. However if you continue to have problems with itching and "minor grazing" look up "lichen sclerosis" on the internet and give yourself a good examination with a magnifying mirror. If your skin is itchy and damages easily there may be more wrong than vibrator damage.

peckarollover · 06/10/2005 18:33

did you find the garlic?

ScreamEagle · 06/10/2005 18:38

OMG just read this thread - my kids are looking at me all funny wondering why I am sniggering into the computer screen....

LadyCodofCodford · 06/10/2005 18:40

surely the garlic woudl have disolved?

ScreamEagle · 06/10/2005 18:41

Dare I ask - has your dh noticed a change in your taste?

spacenstein · 06/10/2005 18:53

Screameagle

ScreamEagle · 06/10/2005 18:54

spacenstein · 06/10/2005 19:00

If you shoved a few peas and carrots 'up there' you could make a nice casserole. Tell your dh 'look no hands'. Thus turning a negative into a positive. He'd think you very gifted.

PMSL hellsbells4 - hope all's well.

Just found this thread HB4, and loved reading it, esp as I was a long-term sufferer from thrush a few back.

Are you still getting the discharge? if it doesn't smell or irritate, could it just be 'how you are'? as you are erm.... maturing ... your vaginal secretions will change, and it may just be as you approach 'that time' in your life.

Don't meant to offend (I'm at that age too). Hope you've got it all sorted by now anyway.
