On Monday night I was lying in bed and, after turning over from my left side, experienced some excruciating pain - also in my left side. (Monday was day 12 of my menstrual cycle). This pain lastest until I took some painkillers but was gone the next morning.
The pain was exactly the same as the pain I experience once a month when I ovulate. On my ovulation day I have a day of quite uncomfortable pain which as far as I understand is the egg bursting out of the ovary.
However, from the morning afterwards, eg Tuesday morning, I have been bleeding a bit (from vag). This is not a period.
I have damaged something but I'm not sure what.
Does it sounds like a burst cyst?
I can't think what else it could be.
I wondered if anyone had anything similar and found out what it was?
I am now in no pain and feel fine. However, the blood is still coming.
(I know I need to see a Doctor).
