Help! I think I have a bunion

My foot (the side, where the base of the big toe bone sticks out) has been a bit painful for a few weeks so went to see dr today. He wants me to go for x-ray to see if it's a bunion. I thought only old ladies got them, after a lifetime of tight shoes and high heels! I'm only 35. Am I some kind of freak or do other people here have them?

The night splints are only for post op use, you can have insoles off the NHS podiatrist (am Podiatrist) to stop it getting worse but it depends how bad it is. Mine have been the same since I was 18 so I am no concerned about them.

There are four stages of bunions. You can google them to see how advanced yours is, not very far I would imagine if you havent had problems buying shoes or walking.

Please dont go wasting your money buying bunion cures. Surgery can correct them but nothing you buy over the counter will correct them.
