Losing my hair?

I didn't particularly notice my hair getting thicker during pregnancy. However, DD is now three months and I am slightly worried about the amount of hair I am shedding. There are literally clumps of hair in the shower after washing my hair this morning, and combing through with a wide tooth comb again removed a scary amount.

I have always quite fancied the completely shaven head look, so I'm not too traumatised, but should I start to prepare DP for the worst? Grin

Or is it completely normal, and will slow down at some point?

Very normal and seems to be worse at the 3/4 month after birth stage as I remember.

Totally totally normal. It takes about a year to calm down iirc. In the mean time, buy a hair trap for your bath Grin

Totally normal, and just down to the change in hormones. It'll settle in time, but you can always get DP to have a look at your scalp - the new short hairs will be growing in so you can see it won't be gone for ever.
