what have i dont to my hand?

3 days ago dd3 pushed a door open and it bounced back onto my hand, hurting my little finger.

i am still in pain now, i think it may have been back too far. i dont think its broken.

but how would i tell?

its down one side of the hand. it hurtsd to push the buggy, lift things etc. surprising how much you use the little finger.

how long do i leave it? would feel daft getting it checked out if its just badly bruised.

It sounds to me like ligament damage, I had that once and it was really painful! It might be worth taping your little finger and ring finger together for a few days to restrict the movement while it recovers
