Right ovulation - more hormonal, weepy than pmt

What is going on - is this normal?

Only just got period back after over 3 years as preg/bf/preg/bf and just can't believe how awful and hormonal I feel at ovulation time.

Am sure was never this bad before so is this normal?

Am starting the mini-pill soon and hoping it settles down - anyone know if this will help?

Oooh have I discovered a new thing or am I just grumpy generally?

Me too I'm just the same, and I also get rage and horrible mood . Evening primrose oil during first two weeks of my cycle really helps me.

I don't like ovulation. I find it sore, get a headache and am v v cross. It's like how other people describe periods. It wasn't always like this (though I have always been able to feel it) but seems to be since having dd. I also get a mild upset stomach at this time every month.

I think it might settle, when mine came back after 28 months bfing ds2, initially it was quite severe - but I think I am calming down a bit. The up side is my periods are super easy these days Hmm

I don't really get what's tipped the balance! But give it a few months and see how you get on.

Oh thank you for replies and glad to know I'm not the only one.

For me its definitely worse than pmt which is strange.
