DS has cut/grazed his lip - How do I stop it getting infected

Hi

DS (18mnths) has just fallen and cut/grazed his lip. It isn't bleeding but is really swollen and purple. Just wondering how to keep the wound clean and stop it from getting infected.

It did bleed but has since stopped.

i wouldnt do anything if i were you, just keep it clean with water

itll heal in no time, the mouth is the fastest repairing part of your body

Thanks. He keeps sucking it. Tonight is going to be a nightmare if he can't use his dummy.

An ice lolly might make it feel better if its bothering him .
