MOuse well done girl, just remember one day at a time.

Hellos everyone, have had a busy day with DC's and a friend and her DC's, Dh going out so I am stuck with the ironing so just clocking in. Any news on Alice?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/08/2010 19:19

Hello Mittz have you seen the Directors yet?

mittz · 11/08/2010 19:29

Hey Five, lovely to see you.. yes I have. Things are not quite as black and white as I had hoped..but a hopeful position I think..

How are you? Are your Garden and pond finished yet?

Alice appears to have disappeared I think....

I am still working and am tired, achey with a cracking headache, but two large holiday loads to get through....

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/08/2010 19:31

Pond is nearly there, they are coming to plant it tomorrow, am going to order the decking for DH to do as well and then this weekend we are going to reseed, we christened it on Saturday after a christening party held here and was quite warm, was a darn site chillier on Sunday morning and sober Grin

Am glad you are thinking about it, would be good. Have you been away?

TotalChaos · 11/08/2010 20:02

hullooooooooooooooooooo. snort at greek island Jillian. I have a scary woman on my Wii fitness coach, wonder if she is meant to be a Jillian clone?

I have now finished the last Stieg Larsson book, so now I don't need to avoid articles in case of spoiling the ending.

Alicetheinvisible · 11/08/2010 20:02

Hey, still here, friend came over this afternoon so i had housework to do before, then horses afterwards.

Fanny - is this the swimming pond? Or have i imagined that?

Bitter - he had been getting better with sneaking food hadn't he? I suppose the temptation is too much, knowing they were there. If it helps my cousin used to sneak twixs and smarties from the cupboard and hide the wrappers under the bathmat Grin He is in the army now, so guess he grew out of it.....

mittz · 11/08/2010 20:02

No, I don't think we will have the chance this year. Seriously tightening the purse strings now. Planning Christmas Hmm.

I seriously just want some time off. Lie ins, breakfast with the Kids, blackberry picking. Do you get away Fanny? It must be difficult.

I need to be working now but am waiting for the painkillers to kick in and to get my second wind.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/08/2010 20:26

I hear you Mittz, we got 4 days away in June and the next holiday will be next June, but we do get quieter periods in the winter so I can catch up with other stuff.

Alice yes the swimming pond is nearly there with the georgeous Tom and Tom.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/08/2010 20:31

Evening all.

Yes, Alice this is the first thing he has eaten that he shouldn't for a long time. He was sat with the box in front of the Simpsons and I do think he just forgot in a way.

He came down and apologised and we ended up all piling into my bed for a bedtime story, so the day ended well. Smile

How are you? Still feeling uncomfortable?

Mittz, we couldn't afford to go away this year either, which is why we ended up at Butlins on clubcard vouchers.

TC are the Stieg Larsson books any good?

It is good that he is learning Bitter. It can be hard to remember they are only babies can't it?

Feeling so so. Could be worse, could be better, just wish that if i am going to be uncomfortable it could at least get a move on iyswim?

Just about to watch a DVD with DH, and finish the last of my treacle sponge Grin Have a good night lovelies Smile

TotalChaos · 11/08/2010 20:52

Bitter - good but a bit overlong and not super duper amazing. v. interesting what author does though, tackling misogyny head on, which is unusual in crime fiction.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/08/2010 20:58

I avoided them for a long time as they were so popular but glad I did, you can read the first one on it's own but the next two are a set, but you must still read the first one first, and on that note my ironing pile calls.

Sorry BItter are you have food problems at the moment?

Lizzylou · 11/08/2010 21:03

Fanny!!!!.
at a swimming pond, I've seen em on Gardeners World (I rock too much I think).

Bitter, my boys have been feral since we came back from holidays, just reducing me to tears. Even DS1, the "good" one. Have no idea why.

England are shite, meh!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/08/2010 21:33

Sorry, my lovely sister phoned.

Fanny - we have had problems with DS since he was 2, he will not stop helping himself to food - even things we have told him not to touch - like his sisters birthday cake.Blush

He used to sneak down at around 5 in the morning and ransack the kitchen.

Fingers crossed, he has stopped, but he ate DD's dessert today. I do think it was an oversight on his part though, there were two in the box and I'm hoping he just didn't think.

Saf, was the 16th July - I only know because it was the week before my cousin's wedding. Smile

I think you were just finishing then.

(wonders if it's weird I know so much about Saf's mentrual cycle)

No plans so far - I still haven't done an online shop Blush so that will come Friday - apart from that - I'm all yours. Smile

Bloody Hell I've not seen you in nearly a month! Shock I will start to get withdrawal syptoms.

How was your evening btw?

Wink
