funnily enough, there was a proper study reported by the BBC when I was PG that suggested you had a less stressed baby if you ate chocolate while pregnant (wonder if it was sponsored by Cadbury Wink).

Makes perfect sense Total Grin

Morning Saf - right, off to shower and shop.

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 14/08/2010 11:14

SAF - i have to at 40+10 because of previous emcs, instead of induction. I am fine about it really as i never felt i needed a natural birth for me iyswim? Just that it seemed the sensible option in terms of recovery, with a toddler, less time in hospital etc.

I didn't really rest either, but felt no need to. Realistically though, most people need to rest after a cs and especially a second one where the skin is already scarred. i keep going from "Hurry up baby" to "Stay there and i can get my cs" Grin

Mouseface · 14/08/2010 11:51

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Alice - I was 40+14 with DD. Induced. So I feel your pain!!

Double - nice to see you managed to erm, rescue your tampon. That happened to me last month! Lil-lets. Nightmare. Glad you have bathed your dog too!! Nowt worse than a wiffy dog.

Bitter - enjoy shopping!

Hello to SAF and TC! TC it's fab to see you around again!!

Anyone seen MIttz?

MrM has taken 2 cats to be rehomed. They were going to be put down otherwise. Ferral, evil little feckers!! We now have 1 cat.

DS has spent the morning puking. Everywhere. He has got much worse. Just as we are about to go away.... I might start his meds again......just to see. It's awful for him.

I have a washing mountain, and ironing to do, packing and an electrician in my kitchen so have only just got my power back!!!

DD is upstairs due to it pouring down and MrM has now taken the car to be repaired.

I'm knackered. No sleep again. Not sure how much more I can take.

Day 12??? I think???

Alicetheinvisible · 14/08/2010 11:56

Mouse - morning Smile DH was reading a vet report at work and apparently cats are much happier as an only pet. Even if they have a sibling as a companion, by the time they are adults they just see them as competition. Our cat is fecking mad though and is recieving the brunt of my frustration!

Oh Alice, I do love it when you swear!

Mouse, I wasn't off on a shopping spree (I wish!)Just went to get some milk. So I'm having a cup of tea (finally!) before I deal with the pit formerly known as my house.

Though I do need some new jeans - mine are falling down!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/08/2010 12:06

Bitter - mine are too!! I have to wear a belt for the first time in god knows how long!!

Double - poor woof!!! Def get him groomed, his hair is quite long isn't it? Bless him.

SAF - thanks. I'm at my wits end today. I feel like crying. I need my period to arrive!!!!! AAArrrrrgggghhhhh!!

Alice - Mable, the one that has stayed, was being bullied by the other two. They were spraying as well!!! Feckers!! So they have been in the wood shed!! Anyway, all gone now. I gave MrM and ulitmatetum, which is not like me.....they go or we don't go on holiday!! They have gone.

My house is a fecking pit of doom!!! My nice cleaner lady came yesterday and it's a tip again already. How does that happen???? Do elves creep in during the night and trash the place?

Roll on September!!!! One less mess monster creating havoc!!
