Are you preg? I had terrible pain there during pregnancy but was told it was down to pelvis adjusting for birth. Otherwise you could maybe try an osteopath?

Hi no not pregnant, I may try an osteopath but am quite poor at the mo, would a GP refer me?

I was given steriod injections for the same a few years back - but I had fallen and had a known injury which I was in agony with for 8 weeks before the injections. Doc also said only 50/50 it will work in that area.

It did for me and in fact I had another 3 months later but the injections themself are painful.

Hope you feel better soon.

I fell on my bum 2 weeks ago and hurt my coccyx so I sympathise! My GP today suggested that a physiotherapist might help but have yet to make the appointment.

Have you got a cushion on your pc chair?

Try heat and/or ice pack - I had this after birth of ds and still suffer occasionally if I sit awkwardly for any length of time, especially in a car.
