I had salmonella once.....grim!

Dh had this a few months after we were married. He was incredibly ill, had a lumbar puncture to test for meningitis, and was in Hosp. for nearly a week (in bed for longer, due to the effects of a badly performed lumbar puncture).

Glad you got home, and are much better now.

Dh had this, a couple of months ago. He had to take a week off work - it's virtually unheard of for him to have sick leave. It triggered off his arthritis terribly, he was in an awful lot of pain. Dr thought he had malaria so in some ways, it was a relief it was campylobacter! Hope you're feeling better now.
